Today after I picked the kids up from school we went to visit our friend Larry Markham at Markham Motor Works in Burbank. We spent some time with Larry looking at his project Porsche 356's in the shop. As a treat to the kids we hit our favorite soda and candy shop in the valley. Rocket Fizz Soda Pop Shop in Burbank is the place to find your favorite soda and old school candy.

Today Amy and I had a great lunch at Pit Fire Pizza in North Hollywoods NoHo Arts District. It is on the corner of Lankershim and Magnolia. Amy had the Pit Fire chicken Salad that is always fresh. I decided to have the Chicken Panini with gouda cheese. Half way through our lunch we noticed that they put the Mac and Cheese back on the menu that has been missing for a few months. They have incredible baked Mac and Cheese. As soon as we saw that we had to put an order in to share. This meant that the kids were going to get the other half of my Panini. The atmosphere is great. Outside the have seating and a large fireplace that makes a nice setting on a brisk winter day. Always a place we consider when we are in NoHo

Tonight Amy and the Kids and I cruised around Toluca Lake, Hollywood, Beverly Hills and Bel-Air looking at Christmas lights. Our favorite Nativity scene was found at Bob Hopes Estate in Toluca Lake. It is in the same neighborhood as Miley Cyrus.


Our Favorite Christmas light display was found at the Los Angelas Church of Latter Day Saints (L.D.S.) Temple. It is on the hill along side Santa Monica Blvd.


I love taking time during the Christmas season to drive around and enjoy the lights with my family.
